Long overdue to be honest, especially also taking into account their performance here. I am not sure why I should even participate in any discussion in which I would be immediately called a "stalker", a "liar", and an "enemy of Wikimedia" by a user who is already indef blocked on their home project for personal attacks. In the topic I started I did not mentioned ssr, nor did I support (or oppose) closing the Wikinews, still they immediately showed up and started to comment on my person. @Ssr: I understand it's more than frustrating when your home project is the one being closed for deletion. However, defending your home project or addressing any criticism does not need to be done using personal attacks, which is the problem at hand. Please take extra care with what you say in the future.

Registering for events does not need an email though but the organisers can't remind you either and probably you might also not receive event confirmation emails. Unfair block on Urdu Wikipedia — request for review

Requesting the Event Registration tool for myself as an admin of the Wikimedians of Chicago User Group as I'd like to explore the CampaignEvents extension and see whether the Programs & Events Dashboard might be able to support the user group's activities. Specifically interested in the § Example use cases "a Wiki contributor hosts an in-person meetup at a library and invites anyone to join to contribute to Wikimedia projects together", which we have done before. Also including Luiysia to my request as she primarily initiates events for the group and might also make good use of the tool.

Suggested updates to filter 105

I am suggesting some updates to the filter.

• OTRS was renamed to VRT, so I would suggest renaming the filter to Permission ticket added by non-VRT member (global).
• I modified the first part of the regex to Permission[\s_]?(?:OTRS|VRTS?|ticket) to also flag Template:Permission ticket, removed some outdated regex, added Permiso(?:OTRS|VRT) in Spanish, and Confirmation[\s_]?OTRS.
• I excluded Wikimedia Commons as they have their own VRT ticket filter (see commons:Special:AbuseFilter/69).
• The pattern variable uses (?i: (case-insensitive), so using that and irlike doesn't make any sense. For that, I changed it to rlike.
• In the last line, rather than using regex to exclude some users, I used equals_to_any(user_name, which should be easier to maintain.

Requesting IA permission

Hello, I am a newly elected admin on Meta and I am seeking Interface adminship to fix MediaWiki:Gadget-ForceEditLinks.js which currently modifies every link including external links to add ?action=edit, making external links invalid. For example, all the external links at Talk:Spam blacklist have ?action=edit like https://spamcheck.toolforge.org/by-domain?q=doorpro.com?action=edit or https://global-search.toolforge.org/?regex=1&ignorecase=1&q=%22doorpro.com%22?action=edit, which makes them invalid/incorrect. I will fix it to exclude external links. I have experience working with JS and CSS and would also like to help with other interface protected requests. I'll go ahead and request IA permission as well. Also a fresh new admin, and would like to be able to help out with any IA edit requests. I have 2FA enabled on my account, though as the one who wrote the Phab commits to give bureaucrats access to check it themselves, I suppose stating that explicitly is somewhat irrelevant now.
