The following discussion is preserved as an archive of a closed Meta-Wiki request. Please do not modify it.

We are writing from Wikimedia Community Arusha to request translation administrator rights for the following users:

At Wikimedia Community Arusha, one of our recurring tasks is creating and maintaining pages for events, campaigns, and community activities organized by our group on Meta-Wiki. These pages are intended to be accessible to a multilingual audience and are therefore prepared for translation using the Translate extension.
We are currently working on internationalizing event and campaign pages (for example, community campaigns such as Write for African Women), with the intention of translating them into additional languages, including Swahili and other relevant languages
Granting translation administrator rights to us would help streamline our workflow and improve multilingual access to Wikimedia Community Arusha’s activities on Meta-Wiki.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Gladys Gibbs (talk) 08:40, 8 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Gladys Gibbs: Please file individual requests for the user right. Also, do prepare a page for translation as stipulated at Meta:TA. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 11:58, 9 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Not done, @User:Gladys Gibbs: requests need to be individually filed, and a page for translation is needed. --M/ (talk) 09:54, 13 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
