Gian Paolo Chiti, Carson Cooman, Jean-Thierry Boisseau, Paul Wehage

Please undelete Gian Paolo Chiti Carson Cooman Jean-Thierry Boisseau and Paul Wehage. They have been deleted by HC after they were frozen for suspected breach of copyright by OwenX inspite of the fact that I expressed my ownership of the copyright of all of the texts published. HC insinuated that these documents, which are biographies of composers and musicians who are all well-known in their fields and already documented in a number of other sources, were promotional in nature. If this is the case, then all biographical entries of composers/authors/actors etc should be deleted as they are all within this catagory. Either you are creating an encyclopedia and everything should be admitted without making judgements about importance or you are creating something else. Musikfabrik 18:12, 3 November 2005 (UTC)

This is not Wikipedia. There shuold not be any articles on composers, authors or actors here. Jon Harald Søby 09:33, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

FL programming language

Please undelete the wikipedia FL programming language. Briefly, it looks like the page was deleted for "copyright violation" with no attempts to contact page authors, and without ascertaining that there was an actual copyright issue. The wikipedia content is widely mirrored and could be recovered manually with a bit of work, but it's probably better to restore it the right way. See the current stub [[FL programming language]] and Talk: pages for further detail. RaulMiller 17:58, 1 October 2005 (UTC)

ImageMagick

Please undelete ImageMagick. It was wrongly deleted with the reason "advert", which it isn't - it's a widely used piece of software which mediawiki uses, and information on it would certainly be helpful to mediawiki users. —Kate | Talk 22:38, 2004 Nov 14 (UTC)

Ok, but as it currently stands, it is an advert. I'll relist it for VfD if it isn't more relevant to MediaWiki in a couple of weeks. Angela 22:41, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Thanks. —Kate | Talk 22:46, 2004 Nov 14 (UTC)
This has now been deleted again out of process. —Kate | Talk 02:06, 2004 Nov 15 (UTC)
  • Closed as keep deleted. The sole content of the article is "ImageMagick is a collection of tools to read, write, and manipulate an image in many image formats" with a link to the homepage. // [admin] Pathoschild (talk/map) 15:18, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

American Overseas Medical Aid Association

Please undelete American Overseas Medical Aid Association. Our temp website was flagged. One of the doctors in Kosovo set it up for free until we can find a volunteer who writes HTML to do our real one on Go Daddy. It was a shell he borrowed, not a bad thing. I don't know how to write this language yet, so have tried tonight to get it, copying what I am seeing. This is terrific! This is all the time I have. I hope you can put the info on the tsunami list of international,non-governmental organizations. We have a dynamic clinic in a rural area in Aceh and are raising money so the mobile teams can role and docs can stay on with small salaries.

There is no deleted revision under this name. Perhaps you came to a wrong place? Cheers, --Aphaia | WQ2翻訳中 | talk 09:14, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Non-Antarctican Wikipedians, Wikipedians named "Mark"

Anthere deleted two pages, Non-Antarctican Wikipedians and Wikipedians named "Mark", without first listing them on RfD. I have discussed the issue with her and she defended her decision by saying that she felt they were "useless" and refused to restore them. She also mentioned something about having lowered inhibitions due to consumption of alcoholic beverages (this was in #wikipedia). I would like to request its restoration and if Anthere objects she may list it on RfD. --Node ue 06:30, 25 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Wikimedia trademarks

The page Wikimedia trademarks has been deleted by User:Danny on December, 30th 2005 with the justification: (should not be here). http://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=&user=&page=Wikimedia_trademarks

I object to the deletion of this page, to which I did not find a reference on Meta:Requests for deletion on Meta. If Wikimedia trademarks was simply moved to another title or Project, please tell me and make a proper Redirect. Otherwise it is unjustified to delete such an important page from Meta. Many pages rely on the accuracy and existance of this page. [1]

For example http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Lizenzbestimmungen describes what is allowed to do with Wikipedia material and what not. It refers to Meta:Wikimedia trademarks as profound source. Or the Wikipedia article about en:Wikipedia refers to it too. If someone really is convinced it "should not be here", then where else could it belong to ? The Wikimedia Foundation has filed the described trademarks and this page was about the only place on which this information is proclaimed to the public.

Wikimedia trademarks was listed on the Template:Wikimedia that links the most important pages on Meta like the Board of Trustees. I'm sure the deletion of this page was some kind of a mistake or joke. Happy New Year! --Mononoke 06:03, 4 January 2006 (UTC)

No, the deletion of the page was done in consultation with the Wikimedia Foundation's legal counsel. Danny 08:39, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
I've replaced the page with an intro explaining that the details are kept confidential for legal reasons. The original content should remain deleted. Angela 16:25, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
