Meta talk:ZeroRatedMobileAccess administrators

Wouldn't be most efficient if the 'zeroadmin' rights were simply added to the global 'sysadmin' group rather than to flood Meta's Special:Userrights page? -- MarcoAurelio (talk) 15:07, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the eventual goal (Yurik can correct me if I'm wrong) is that the Zero partners will be able to configure their own settings, so they wouldn't want those accounts with full sysadmin rights, just enough to edit their Zero page. Legoktm (talk) 21:28, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Current code already allows per-Zero-page admins to be specified, allowing our carrier partners to edit their own settings (but no other page, including no other page in the rest of zero namespace). The problem is that we plan to show a lot of highly sensitive data in those pages which we are legally not allowed to show to anyone (my understanding), so allowing all sysadmins outside of the zero group to see that might cause issues. --Yurik (talk) 08:20, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
