Description
[edit]1000 Windows into Africa is an initiative to enrich the Arabic Wikipedia by creating 1,000 articles about the African continent. The project aims to bridge knowledge gaps by covering underrepresented topics in history, culture, heritage, geography, biographies, science, and contemporary society.
Through training, and peer review, the project will engage both experienced and new contributors to produce reliable content that meets Wikimedia standards. By expanding free knowledge about Africa, the initiative will improve content diversity, strengthen the Arabic and African Wikimedia community, and make the region's rich heritage more accessible to millions of readers.
