Description
[edit]Kurdish Wiki Project is an ambitious knowledge initiative aimed at enriching the representation of Kurdish civilization across Wikimedia platforms. The project’s primary goal is to create and improve 5,000 articles on both English and Arabic Wikipedia related to Kurdish culture, history, geography, and heritage, alongside 1,000 new articles on Kurdish Wikipedia. In addition, it will contribute to edit and create 5,000 items to Wikidata, ensuring structured and accessible information for global audiences.
By addressing the significant gap in reliable, verifiable content about all aspects of Kurdish life—ranging from historical events and notable figures to cultural traditions, languages, and landmarks. This project will help preserve and share Kurdish heritage with the world. Through this effort, we aim to foster a more accurate, inclusive, and comprehensive online presence for the Kurdish people across languages and communities.
