Description
[edit]Introduction: Following the successful completion of the first project within a record timeframe, I hereby submit the second project proposal. This project aims to add 10,000 new items to Wikidata, with a primary focus on integrating complete book lists derived from publishing house databases.
Methodology: The data will be imported using QuickStatements 3, while the databases will be systematically compiled and organized using Excel to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Scope and Innovation: In addition to book databases, this project will pilot the inclusion of academic papers and university theses published by Jordanian universities, which are frequently referenced on Wikipedia. This initiative is expected to pave the way for systematically uploading Arabic university theses to Wikidata, aligning with established practices at leading international universities.
Conclusion: The proposed project will not only enrich Wikidata with high-quality bibliographic data but also expand its scope to include significant Arabic academic contributions. This step will strengthen the representation of Arabic scholarly work in global knowledge repositories. Furthermore, I will add 10,000 items to Wikidata, consisting of both books and academic papers.
