We need this for at least here, we will include the 10 works from here.

Can you help? --Geraki TL 15:07, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It does not seem to work with items with zero Wikipedia articles like d:Q21232677. Don't know whether this is intentional of if it is a bug — NickK (talk) 15:12, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'll have a look. --Jura1 (talk) 15:15, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I works for Q20000000 which has a wikisource page. -Geraki TL 15:17, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Geraki and NickK: It should work now. --Jura1 (talk) 15:25, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Current Bosnian flag cannot represent Bosnian language. Why? Because in Bosnia and Herzegovina we have Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian as official languages. For bs.wikipedia table value here we should use Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina flag, because that could represent Bosnian language. --Munja (talk) 12:08, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

language links broken[edit]

I noticed that the language links have been broken for a few days now... I changed the code to fix that, but am perplexed as to why this code was working in the first place, and not anymore. Any ideas? --Fjmustak (talk) 19:39, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New consolidated table[edit]

I've created Module:LanguageMatrix as a "generic" language matrix that contains separate functions for different combinations of languages. This way people don't have to copy-paste the whole module to customize it, they just have to add a function with the list of languages.

Right now it incorporates CEE and a few others I've worked on (Top 20 most spoken languages, Nordic languages, African languages). Feel free to invite people to add more! John P. Sadowski (NIOSH) (talk) 21:59, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Incubator languages?[edit]

Hi! Great module, thanks! Can incubator languages be added to the tables? -Yupik (talk) 01:34, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bit late but worth noting: I don't think so, because the links on Wikidata are checked, unless incubator projects can now be linked on Wikidata. Braveheart (talk) 01:21, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

The image for the Crimean Tatar (crh) wikilinks column should be File:Gerae-tamga.svg (the one including the blue and gold national colors), NOT the plain black-and-white one currently in use File:Тамга Гераев.svg. Please edit the template to make the proper change.--PlanespotterA320 (talk) 14:41, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@PlanespotterA320: I’ve done the change, but the new flag is hardly recognizable in such small size. If you find a better image (e.g. without shining effect), please boldly make the change now that you know where to do it. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 00:21, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Preparing for an editathon between 6 languages[edit]

Hi all! [Crossposting from WD] I'm preparing for an editathon on Meta. Can someone advise me please why my attempt here to limit the languages to just 6 doesn't seem to work on Meta? I adapted Module:Golygathon from Module:WikiHumanRights. Somehow or other the Human Rights list of languages appear! Do I need a Sparkle Query to create the list of 6, or maybe a third template / module? Many thanks! Llywelyn2000 (talk) 06:56, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just seen the above discussion 'New consolidated table', and I think that may be a better way of doing it as it doesn't need a full, seperate module. Cheers! Llywelyn2000 (talk) 07:05, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Table alignment seems off[edit]

The table columns between crh and ro are off by 1. Not sure how to fix this (I don't know enough about the structure of this table module) but it's also quite evident that crh and ro links are not being pulled into the table appropriately. Perhaps @Braveheart knows about this. Thanks! -- ToniSant (talk) 14:57, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, two columns were removed but because the template needs to be marked for translation, the changes aren't visible, leading to a mismatch in the table. Thanks to Mehman for correcting this, but it does make it pretty difficult to actually change / remove anything. Braveheart (talk) 17:01, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
