Witteveen+Bos Art+Technology Award

The Witteveen+Bos Art+Technology Award was conferred 20 times, between 2001 and 2021, by the Dutch engineering company Witteveen+Bos. It was awarded to a Dutch artist who united art and technology in a unique way.

Arco

Arco is a Dutch furniture manufacturer based in Winterswijk, best known for handcrafted wooden tables and related furniture.

Founded in 1904, it remains an independent family-owned business across four generations. Arco works with notable Dutch designers, such as Bertjan Pot and Sabine Marcelis.

The examples here both show insights in the data (content) and also provide examples of various free and open source tools offered and maintained by the volunteer Wikidata community.

NADD website's visualization

The NADD website (launched in June 2025) offers a visual timeline, map view, list view, graph view, and individual info cards about the designers, collectives, artists and design agencies active in Dutch design and digital culture.

This visualization uses Biblio-Graph. NADD commissioned Archival Consciousness to develop this visualization.
