NARWHAL across Wiki North America!

A NARWHAL meeting is planned for September 22, 2025 at 9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific.

  • NARWHAL = North American Regional Wiki Hub and Lab - It's an informal coalition of North America Wikimedians, mostly organizers, including Mexico, Canada, the U.S. and the Caribbean. It's analogous to WALRUS for the U.S.

    1. Special U.S. Focus GovDirectory Office Hour Thursday, September 25 3PM Eastern, noon Pacific
    2. During the focus week we're working on Wikidata items for federal museums to potentially publish in time for WCNA.
    3. Also looking to activate more state-level projects.

    7. Do we have a way to share useful scripts? User:Gaurav has created a [[ https://github.com/gaurav/wikipedia-global-message-cleanup |script]] to check lists of editors for last edit date so inactive editors can be contacted less frequently.
