A few questions[edit]

Hi, Anirudh and Vantharith. We have a few initial questions about this request.

  • We would like to know if the talks listed are yet confirmed within the BlogFest's program.
  • Anirudh, we notice you're listed as one of the organizers of the BlogFest: would you please clarify your role here on the talk page for the public record?
  • In what language will the event take place and in what language will the talks be delivered?

Thanks! Wolliff (talk) 16:16, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message, Winifred. Yes, I am one of the organizers. To answer your questions:
  • Vantharith's talks can be confirmed once we can ascertain his presence at the event. This is contingent on the success of this application.
  • My role is to mainly facilitate the Wikimedia Commons workshop, and to send instructions to our confirmed participants regarding uploading media on Wikimedia Commons prior to the Heritage Walk around Angkor Wat, the Floating Village and Siem Reap City.
  • The sessions at this event will be in English and Khmer. A majority of the sessions will be in the English language, however, a select number of slots shall be reserved for Khmer language interest groups, in which I would like to include a couple of Wikimedia sessions by Vantharith. I expect this event to be attended by over 50 regional and international participants and another 150 participants from different provinces of Cambodia.
I hope this clarifies.
