Two months later, the board conducted a Special Board Election and finally restructured the officers with Zyra Hila elected as the second female Board Chair in the history of PhilWiki Community. Further, with the appointment of Marife Altabano and Frinces Ezra Carullo, the new composition of the board became a female-majority Board for the first time.

The organization believes that Wikipedia, among other Wikimedia projects, belongs in Education hence it engages in projects, programs and activities that promote free, responsibly open-content resources and reference materials, through academia among other entities. It supports active learning and the Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom pilot program of the Education Team of Wikimedia Foundation. WikiTutorial was a project conducted from November 2018 to June 2019 which involved participants in editing tutorials as well as engagement in the training and organizing of activities. During this period, the participants along with educators learned the basic editing and got familiarized with the Wikimedia movement in the Philippines.

1. Webinar on Wikimedia held December 2, 2022 at Fr. James O'Brien SJ Library in Ateneo de Naga University - We have just celebrated this week the 15th Anniversary of Bikol Wikimedia Community, which serves as the constituency of PhilWiki. Today, we hosted a Webiner attended online by LiAnna Davis (Chief Programs Officers & Deputy Director, Wiki Education) and Satdeep Gil (Senior Program Officer, Culture and Heritage, Wikimedia Foundation). One of the key learnings that surfaced from the webinar is the urgent need for digitization and Optical Character Recognition of heritage literature, for transfer to WikiSource. The webinar was held in partnership with the Ateneo University of Naga City. We shall nurture these institutional relationships in all fields.[1]

2. In partnership with Parasurat Bikolnon, and the Bikol High School for the Arts and Culture, the Community initiated the 3-day Training in Translation and Creative Writing for Teachers and Young Writers 2022 held from March 11-13, 2022 via Google Meet. Message from AffCom via Bunty Avieson on May 11, 2022 (UTC):
It has been a year since we notified you on meta that the application for Chapter status is on hold considering the unresolved conflict and capacity challenges of the User Group. As your group is still dealing with conflict issues, and we have not received any status update, we are reaching out to inform you that you have till end of May to resolve the standing issues or the application will be removed from the pipeline and marked archived. You are welcome to submit a new application when you have resolved the identified issues.
We note the communication from Filipinayzd on meta that the PH-WC Board has voted to endorse your application. This is excellent news, but on its own not enough to meet the requirements of becoming a Chapter.
This message will be emailed and posted on the application meta page.
We look forward to working with you in the future.

At the May 13, 2022 Board Meeting, the Board resolved to remove one target, in particular, putting on hold the distribution of copies of localized Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom booklet from the activities therefore amending the approved 2022 Annual Plan. Further, initiatives connected to Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom including personal efforts to promote the program is put on hold in the meantime. After the resignation of the Board Chair, the founding Chair and President, and Incorporator, in connection with PhilWiki Community's thought-partnership with the Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom, the rest of the Board approved via a unanimous vote on May 13, 2022 during a regular Board meeting held virtually Program Committee Chairpersons 2022-2023:
