Public Domain Day Online Edit-a-thon 2026

On January 9 2026, Wikimedia Portugal, ANSOL, and the National Library of Portugal will celebrate Public Domain Day with an in-person event featuring presentations on this celebration, the list of authors whose works are entering the public domain, and Wikimedia projects. An edit-a-thon will also be held to create or improve information about these authors.
The edit-a-thon will take place both in person at the National Library of Portugal and online via Zoom, from 14:00 to 17:00 h (UTC). To participate online, prior registration is required via the following link:
