his series of activities took place from 1 July 2025 to 9 August 2025. At the beginning of the program, we plan to reach out to libraries and institutions that hold collections of Javanese-language or Javanese-script manuscripts and books. The partner we have reached is Dalem Jayadipuran, or the Cultural Heritage Preservation Office Region X, located at No. 139 Brigjen Katamso Street, Keparakan Village, Mergangsan District, Yogyakarta City, and the Artati Library of Sanata Dharma University, located on Affandi Street, Caturtunggal Village, Depok District, Sleman Regency.

The selection of partner institutions for digitizing manuscripts/books is based on several strategic and substantive considerations. These partners possess highly valuable literature collections from historical, cultural, and academic perspectives, yet many of these works have not been fully digitized. As a result, the collections are vulnerable to physical damage, loss, or limited public access. Through collaboration, the digitization process can be carried out more efficiently and with greater impact. Moreover, the selected partners have demonstrated a commitment to preserving knowledge and a willingness to share resources, thus supporting our shared goals of preserving and disseminating literature to the public via digital platforms. This collaboration also opens up opportunities for future development in research, education, and innovation.

The core activity we undertook was the digitization of Javanese-language manuscripts and books, with the results uploaded to Wikimedia Commons under the main categories "Books in Javanese", "Books in Javanese script", and "Pustakatama digitization". In this process, four volunteers worked daily to digitize the manuscripts and books. Prior to digitization, we selected works whose copyrights had been released into the public domain, allowing them to be indexed on Javanese Wikisource as well.

We aimed to complete the digitization of eight manuscripts/books per day. The digitization process was carried out over 20 days, bringing the total target to 160 manuscripts/books. This target was based on the team’s working capacity and the availability of resources to ensure a smooth digitization process. The scanned materials that were uploaded and added to Javanese Wikisource were then used as content for the editing workshop sessions. The workshop, titled "Wiyata Pustaka", was held at Building B8, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Semarang (Sekaran Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City).
