I will retain the participants to be very active on Wikimedia projects particularly Wikimedia Commons.

Finances

Grant funds spent

Please describe how much grant money you spent for approved expenses, and tell us what you spent it on.

• We spent a total of ₦315,000 on approved items for the Wiki Loves Earth 2026 in Kano project. This included ₦60,000 for a One day hall, ₦15,000 for event banner, ₦30,000 for Three branded T-shirts for organizers,₦90,000 for food and refreshments for 30 participants, and ₦10,000 for projector, ₦10,000 for tags and flyers,₦50,000 for photo Walk transport, ₦30,000 for photographer, ₦20,000 for contingency which used to cover minor additional costs. All funds were used as planned to support the event’s success.
