Goals

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went? Yes, the project met most of its goals. The campaign helped enrich Wikipedia articles with visuals and improved digital literacy on Wikipedia project. We are pleased with the level of participation and quality of contributions, even though a few targets (like Commons uploads) were not fully achieved.

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future.

What worked well

We had a large turnout of members who showed great interest and participated actively in the program.
The event was very successful, and the planning and coordination went smoothly.
Team members worked together effectively, which made the program run well overall.

What did not work so well

Some participants found Wikipedia editing quite complex, which limited their level of contribution.
A few members needed more time and practical support to fully understand how to edit and add images correctly.
We could not secure a very comfortable venue for the participants. The hall we planned to use had no electricity supply, which made the environment hot and uncomfortable.
We had to go the extra mile to get ventilation and equipment to make the venue a bit more comfortable, which increased stress and effort for the organizing team.

What I would do differently next time

Secure a more comfortable and well-equipped venue ahead of time to ensure a better environment for participants.
Arrange for a reliable power supply or backup generator to avoid issues with electricity.
Provide more hands-on training and practical guidance to help new participants understand Wikipedia editing better.
Prepare logistics and materials earlier to reduce last-minute stress for the organizing team.
Assign specific roles to team members to make coordination smoother and reduce workload pressure.
Plan a follow-up session or mentorship program to help participants continue improving their editing skills after the main event.
