Goals

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went? We achieved the main goals of the project. The training successfully introduced participants to the 1Lib1Ref campaign and improved their skills in adding reliable references to Wikipedia articles. Participants actively contributed during the training and edit-a-thon, and many expressed interest in continuing to contribute after the project. Overall, I am happy with how the project went because it strengthened participants’ editing projects, promoted the use of reliable sources, and helped grow the Wikimedia community in Zamfara.

What worked well?

The training went well, and participants were active throughout the session. They learned how to add good references to Wikipedia and made useful contributions during the project.

What did not work so well?

Most participants were new editors, so some of them still need more practice and guidance to improve their editing skills and contribute with confidence.

What would you do differently next time?

Next time, I will provide more follow up support and practice sessions to help new participants improve their editing skills and become active contributors.
