- The community needs to develop an active test project; it must remain active until approval (automated statistics, recent changes). It is generally considered active if the analysis lists at least three active, not-grayed-out editors listed in the sections for the previous few months.
- The community needs to complete required MediaWiki interface translations in that language (about localization, translatewiki, check completion).
- The community needs to discuss and complete the settings table below:

El criollo español (conocida en Colombia como costeñol) es por así decirlo, la lengua propia de todas las personas que habitan el Caribe, tanto insular como continental; diferenciada de las demás regiones de América latina como México, los Andes, el Cono Sur, etc., por su sintaxis, léxico, morfología y fonología, que las hace parecer un idioma aparte del español para cualquier individuo no hispanohablante y hasta para cualquier persona que hable español propio de España o de América.
El criollo español está impregnado en todos los aspectos culturales de la gente que lo habla, siendo esta lengua la que más se escucha en las principales ciudades de EEUU como Miami y New York. Es el momento que se reconozca esta lengua, y que se entienda que aunque el idioma español estándar sea impuesto en esos países y lugares, siempre el criollo español prevalece a diario de boca en boca, sometido bajo discriminación, aveces llamado mal hablar, comeletra; debido también a que como toda lengua, está relacionado de forma intrínseca a su gentes, y esta son de orígenes africanos e indígenas.
Sí el asturiano y aragonés han sido aceptados, entonces de igual forma, también debe ser aceptado el criollo español. Actitud equitativa para todas las gentes con respecto a su aspectos lingüísticos.

- En wikipedia existen lenguas como asturiano, aragonés, gallego, entre otras, todas muy similares al español o portugués en cualquier caso, todo nació de la necesidad que tenían las personas que hablan esas lenguas, en que se reconociese su aspecto lingüístico. De lo anterior, todos los habitantes del Caribe continental e insular tenemos el derecho en que se nos reconozca nuestros aspectos culturales, en este caso, el lingüístico, que por lo general es sometido a desculturización, discriminación y otros atropellos por parte de hispanohablantes. - Strong oppose - IMHO it fails Meta:Language proposal policy#Requisites §3 (I do not think that «the language is sufficiently unique that it could not coexist on a more general wiki» - external link provided evidences that crp is a regional dialect with different written forms of the same language (spanish)) and §4 (I do not think that «the proposal has a sufficient number of living native speakers to form a viable community and audience» - This is the only page that the test project has in crp which shows lack of community interested). Also, the language has an extremelly poor localization.
Language is also listed as dead. - Oppose crp is a generic creole tag; we'd need a specific tag for this. It seems unlikely that SIL will give a tag for this, looking at the WP page, but we generally defer to them one way or the other as to whether a certain language is in fact unique.--Prosfilaes 06:47, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- Opongo por que aquél no es un idioma, es un idioma imaginado, contemplado y propuesto. Simplemente por que so podria escribir como se habla el newyorican no quere decir que tiene su propia literatura ni gramática, la realidad es que eso no existe y la jerga, argot y vernacular de todo el caribe desde trinidad, a cuba, a puerto rico, a RD, a bonaire es muy muy muy diferente, son varios acentos no relacionados y no un idioma ni una familia de dialectos. Desafortunadamente para ésta propuesta se necesita exisitir un idioma pero no se puede imaginar uno, lo mismo da para el vernacular afroamericano inglés no tiene una forma de escribir estándar ní diccionario ni código ISO y por éso no me podria oponer más, especialmente cuando idiomas bona fide y legítimos de África p.ej. todavía no tienen versiones activas, ojalá hubiera wikipedia en maya, mapudungun o wayuu algo necesario.108.212.70.237 02:24, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
