submitted verification final decision
Applications-system.svg This language has been verified as eligible.
The language is eligible for a project, which means that the subdomain can be created once there is an active community and a localized interface, as described in the language proposal policy. You can discuss the creation of this language project on this page.

Once the criteria are met, the language committee can proceed with the approvaland will verify the test project content with a reliable neutral source, such as a professor or expert.

If you think the criteria are met, but the project is still waiting for approval, feel free to notify the committee and ask them to consider its approval.

  • The community needs to develop an active test project; it must remain active until approval (automated statistics, recent changes). It is generally considered active if the analysis lists at least three active, not-grayed-out editors listed in the sections for the previous few months.
  • The community needs to complete required MediaWiki interface translations in that language (about localization, translatewiki, check completion).
  • The community needs to discuss and complete the settings table below:

Arguments in favour[edit]

--Tareqwaisi (talk) 17:08, 27 April 2014 (UTC)

Arguments against[edit]

  • Against No test wiki and few speakers. --Kanzler31 20:09, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Other discussion[edit]

According to Ethnologue hac is a code for all Gorani dialects (not just for Hawrami) and there are less than 50.000 of speakers in Iran and Iraq, both. Would it be more useful to make Gorani Wikipedia? --Millosh 05:28, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

The project is eligible now. The next steps are:
  • Go to Translatewiki "Getting started" page and start with translation of the MediaWiki interface. --Millosh 03:13, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
  • Create test project at Incubator. --Millosh 03:13, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Merged from Requests for new languages/Wikipedia Gorani[edit]

Hawrami is listed as a dialect of Gorani. We presume that this project will include all dialects of Gorani. For LangCom: StevenJ81 (talk) 14:14, 13 June 2019 (UTC)

Thx. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 21:14, 13 June 2019 (UTC)
