The language committee needs to verify the language is eligible to be approved.

- The community needs to develop an active test project; it must remain active until approval (automated statistics, recent changes). It is generally considered active if the analysis lists at least three active, not-grayed-out editors listed in the sections for the previous few months.
- The community needs to complete required MediaWiki interface translations in that language (about localization, translatewiki, check completion).
- The community needs to discuss and complete the settings table below:

For an important point that's not obvious, this is a different language from Wikipedia Marwari--mve versus rwr. It doesn't seem to have a separate name, just Marwari (Pakistan) versus Marwari (India), as described on w:en:Marwari language. With my lumper tendencies and the lack of detail, I'm not sure they're really separate languages, but they are in different scripts, so it's not like they'll be mirrors of each other. I do wish we could find a better name, though.--Prosfilaes (talk) 22:12, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
Support. We must enable Marwari-speakers in Pakistan not only to read (with possible Converter), but also to write Wikipedia in their own language. --Danvintius Bookix (talk) 13:55, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
