Research talk:How does exogenous policy affect editor work?

Wikipedia at Interior Health[edit]

Interior Health, the health institution where I work, was blocking some of Wikipedia which was interfering with my editing. I have contacted them and they agreed to open up full access to our site. I did however figure out that I could get access to what I wished through the secure wiki :-) --Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 23:03, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks and congrats for negotiating that access. I don't suppose you know which Internet filtering software they used? WereSpielChequers 16:23, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Schools access[edit]

I'm not sure how this would be a short term blip unless those schools had subsequently opened up again. It probably isn't the sole or even Principal reason for the tail off, but I'd have thought it would be one of the reasons, maybe even up there with the millions of IPs blocked by range blocks and the pressure from some Academics not to trust or use Wikipedia.
