  • If you have any questions and comments on safety for Wikimedians, or if you and your community would like to explore or co-create more Wikimedia-related resources that fit your specific context and circumstance, please feel free to reach out at talktohumanrights@wikimedia.org.

Welcome to the Physical Safety Resource Center! Here you will find resources and learning material on how to stay safe in the physical world.

  • Resources are grouped by thematic subtabs. In every subtab you can find context on threats and risks, recommendations and tools/resources.
  • Take the time to go through the resources and learn to better protect yourself, the people you interact with and the communities you support.
  • If you feel overwhelmed or don’t know what to do first, the tab on “Safety Planning” includes some resources that can help you prioritize safety recommendations for your own context.
  • If you have questions on some of these terms and concepts, try exploring our glossary of threats or reach out to the WMF Human Rights Team at talktohumanrights@wikimedia.org.
