  • Description: This workshop introduces participants to the basics of creating and customizing templates and infoboxes on Wikimedia wikis. It will cover essential concepts such as template syntax, parameters, parser functions, and transclusion. Participants will also get hands-on practice in building simple infoboxes and modifying existing templates to improve page structure and consistency across wiki content.

ISA Tool

  • Description: ISA is a simple tool that allows users to add useful tags and information to images on Wikimedia Commons. It helps beginners make quick and easy contributions by describing images in multiple languages. The tool works by showing selected images and guiding users to add captions, tags, and "depicts" statements step by step. In the workshop, participants will learn how to use ISA to improve image descriptions and support Wiki Loves projects..
