By bringing together experiences, challenges and achievements. It supports knowledge exchange and highlights the collective progress of Wikimedia projects across South Asia
This is a guidelines explain how news items should be submitted, reviewed and published for the WikiDhara.
Purpose of the newsletter

- Community activities and events
- Technical and non-technical developments
- Outreach, collaborations and campaigns
- Achievements and milestones from South Asia–related Wikimedia communities
The newsletter is community-driven and relies on voluntary submissions.
Who can submit
[edit]Anyone involved in Wikimedia activities related to South Asia may submit news including:
- Individual contributors
- Wikimedia User groups and affiliates
- Community organizers and trainers
How to submit
[edit]At this pilot initative we use this form below to collect community updates, project and campaign highlights, partnerships and collaborations, announcements, upcoming initiatives and stories from across the South Asia Wikimedia communities.
Your contributions help document regional activities, showcase community achievements, and strengthen collaboration across the movement.
What should not be submitted
[edit]The following content will not be accepted:
- Promotional or advertising content
- Advocacy unrelated to Wikimedia projects
- Content violating Wikimedia policies or the Code of Conduct
