This page hosts requests for global permissions. To make a request, read the relevant policy (global rollback, global sysop, global rename, …) and make a request below. Explain why membership is needed for that group, and detail prior experience or qualifications.

This is not a vote and any active Wikimedia editor may participate in the discussion.

Successful global rollback requests require no fewer than 5 days of discussion, while successful global renamer and global sysop discussions require no fewer than 2 weeks.

Instructions for making a request

 |domain    = global <!-- don't change this line -->
 |user name = Username
}}
::''Not ending before {{subst:#time:j F Y H:i|+5 days}} UTC''

The request will be approved if consensus to do so exists after a period of consideration of no less than 5 days (no exceptions are allowed no matter how obvious the result may seem). Global rename for Atcovi[edit]

I have been doing a lot of work on Steward requests/Username changes and a lot of cross-wiki SWMT work as well. After a couple of months of clerking on the Username requests page, I've decided to apply for global rename myself to speed up the username changing process. --Atcovi (Talk - Contribs) 19:41, 5 December 2017 (UTC)

Renew global editinterface and global delete for Pathoschild[edit]

I use global editinterface and global delete permissions to run the Synchbot service and maintain scripts crosswiki (mainly the former now). With Synchbot I've mostly focused on the global user page migration and handling user requests from global user pages#Removing local pages, and fulfill the request queue periodically. I'm not otherwise active, but I'd like to continue this work; stewards have indicated they'd rather not take over Synchbot. :) —Pathoschild 23:24, 11 December 2017 (UTC)

Comment Comment. There is a problem with the "delete-global" (or global deleter) right. So, I've started a discussion here for the problem. Ajraddatz removed these rights from the global group. --Ks-M9 [disc.] 16:13, 14 December 2017 (UTC).
I removed the group after nobody had been in it for a few months. It'll take about 5 seconds to re-activate it if this request passes :-) – Ajraddatz (talk) 22:40, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
Thanks. Now it can be solved :) --Ks-M9 [disc.] 23:08, 15 December 2017 (UTC).
