Thematic Organizations must:

  • Comply with the law and other obligations spelled out in the agreement;
  • Submit accurate, complete, and timely reports on finances, activities, and plans;
  • Promote and support the mission of the Wikimedia movement;
  • Allow WMF to monitor and inspect how its trademark is used; and
  • Never represent itself as WMF or an agent of WMF.

Note: A Thematic Organization is not formally associated with the Wikimedia Foundation in any sense other than as described in the agreement.
