This page is for requests to have stewards grant or revoke administrator, bureaucrat, checkuser, and oversight rights on Wikimedia projects which do not have a local permissions procedure. </translate>

<translate> Old sections are archived by a bot>User:JarBot</>|bot. Click here for a list of archives.</translate>

  • Requests for bot flags are handled at srb>SRB</>|SRB, and requests for globalg>Special:MyLanguage/Global groups</>|global permissions are handled at srgp>SRGP</>|SRGP.
  • If you are requesting adminship or bureaucratship, and your wiki has a local bureaucrat, submit your request to that user or to the relevant local request page (irp>WM:IRP#On other wikis</>|index).
  • For urgent requests, such as to combat large-scale vandalism on a small wiki, contact a steward in the <tvar

1. Place the following code at the bottom of the appropriate section below: </translate>

Username@xxproject
{{sr-request
|status    = <!--don't change this line-->
|domain    = <!-- such as en.wikibooks -->

  • discussion: a link to the local vote or discussion about the rights change (for example, "ex:Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship#ExampleUser").

3. If anything is missing from your request, a steward will request more information.

Confirmation of signing confidentiality agreement

Certain permissions (notably CheckUser and Oversight) additionally nonpublic-data>Special:MyLanguage/Access to nonpublic personal data policy</>|require users to sign a agreement>Special:MyLanguage/Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information</>|confidentiality agreement. Users requesting these permissions must make a request below, and must also stew-handbook>Steward handbook/email templates</>|sign the confidentiality agreement with the Wikimedia Foundation. The request is placed on hold temporarily, until the receipt has been idn>Access to nonpublic personal data policy/Noticeboard</>|formally confirmed by the Office. </translate>

I'm an administrator, provisional period has expired. Санюн Вадик (talk) 19:08, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Please have a local discussion at this wiki asking for the continuation of admin rights. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:02, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Our community requests appointment of a permanent administrator. --Санюн Вадик (talk) 10:33, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
I doubt that we will apply permanent administrator rights. The community is too small so in this case we would generally do repeated, extending rights application. — billinghurst sDrewth 10:33, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
Our community is small, but a few years before we elected a permanent administrator. Stewards Ruslik0 and MF-Warburg gave earlier flag permanent administrator. --Санюн Вадик (talk) 05:05, 20 December 2013 (UTC)

Tn4196@vec.wiktionary

I have been administrator until 8 december 2013, after the status decayed. I need a right of 6 months (waiting a bigger comunity for a permanent status election). Tn4196 (talk) 12:58, 12 December 2013 (UTC)

Please start a new discussion/election. --MF-W 16:42, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
I started a new discussion about my (and other users's) re-election, asking if there are oppositions. Now I think we can wait about a week and then we'll see. --Tn4196 (talk) 07:43, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

Done Granted for 6 months to expire on 2014-06-20. To prolong your (interface) adminship, please start another election a few days before your temporary access expires, and after a week post your request again to this page. Thanks. QuiteUnusual (talk) 14:53, 20 December 2013 (UTC)
Thank you. --Tn4196 (talk) 08:12, 21 December 2013 (UTC)

Removal of access

<translate>

  • If you're requesting the removal of your own permissions, make sure you're logged in to your account. If you have multiple flags, specify which you want removed. Stewards may delay your request a short time to ensure you have time to rethink your request (see self-discussion>Talk:Steward_requests/Permissions/2011#Self_requests</>|previous discussion on 24 hour delays); the rights will not be restored by stewards once they are removed.
  • To request the removal of another user's permissions, you must gain consensus on the local wiki first. When there is community consensus that the user's access should be removed, provide a link to the discussion, with a brief explanation of the reason for the request, and summarize the results of discussion. However, as bureaucrats of some wikis may remove users from the administrator or bureaucrat group, please see also a crat-rem>Bureaucrat#Removing_access</>|separate list of these specific wikis.
  • To request the removal of another user's permissions for inactivity, link to your local inactivity policy. If your site does not have inactivity policy, the global policy aar>Admin activity review</>|Admin activity review applies.
  • See the usage>#Using this page</>|instructions above for adding new requests. Please post new requests at the bottom of the section.</translate>

X mark.svg Not done I do not see a community consensus for the removal of admin or checkuser bit. If you have concerns over the appropriate use of the checkuser tool, please address any concerns to the Ombudsmen Commission. I do think that SpeedyGonsales reflect on the highlighted microcosm of discontent. Checkusers need to have the full support of their community, and be seen to retain the support of the community. — billinghurst sDrewth 10:42, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

もかめーる@ja.wikipedia

This is a self-request. I've been an administrator on Japanese Wikipedia for one year. I could not feel competent anymore to fulfill this position, so I hope to refind my pleasure as a normal user. I've already thought about this for quite some time, and finally decided to have my administrator status removed. Thanks in advance.--もかめーる(Talk) 13:19, 20 December 2013 (UTC)

Done, thank you for your work
