Using this page
1. Place the following code at the bottom of the appropriate section below: </translate>
==== Username@xxproject ==== <translate><!--T:15--> (your remarks)</translate> ~~~~
<translate> 2. Fill in the values:
- domain: the wiki's URL domain (like "ex.wikipedia" or "meta.wikimedia").
- user name: the name of the user whose rights are to be changed (like "Exampleuser"). In case you're requesting access for multiple bots, leave this field blank and give a list of these bots in your remarks
- discussion: a link to the local vote or discussion about the rights change (for example, "ex:Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship#ExampleUser").
3. If anything is missing from your request, a steward will request more information.
Confirmation of signing confidentiality agreement
Certain permissions (notably CheckUser and Oversight) additionally nonpublic-data>Special:MyLanguage/Access to nonpublic personal data policy</>|require users to sign a agreement>Special:MyLanguage/Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information</>|confidentiality agreement. Users requesting these permissions must make a request below, and must also stew-handbook>Steward handbook/email templates</>|sign the confidentiality agreement with the Wikimedia Foundation. The request is placed on hold temporarily, until the receipt has been idn>Access to nonpublic personal data policy/Noticeboard</>|formally confirmed by the Office. </translate>

Please give me sysop rights in the Hebrew (he) Wikinews (there're no bureaucrats).
The community is small, so there is no point to make a vote, since no one participate it.
Thank you, Guycn2 (talk) 17:45, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- The community is small, but it's preferred to make a local announcement, as requested in instructions, and to wait for comments at least for 7 days. --M/ (talk) 17:52, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

I requested adminship here in November so I could fix some protected templates. The community hasn't grown much and I'm the only active admin. I'd like to extend my adminship so I can perform deletions and other admin tasks. --AmaryllisGardener (talk) 22:54, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- There should be some kind of announcement also locally that you are now seeking renewal. --MF-W 23:03, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- Do you mean another RFA or just a message saying I'm seeking renewal via steward request? --AmaryllisGardener (talk) 16:04, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- You should open a new discussion, so yes a new RFA, so that the community has a chance to comment on your request. Depending on the level of support we'd determine whether to extend your adminship and for how long. QuiteUnusual (talk) 16:10, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

I request here to become as a bureaucrat in hausa wikipedia. There are no other bureaucrats or a page for discussion to become as a bureaucrat in that wikipedia. I'm contributing continuously there. There are some articles with wrong contents, they have to be deleted and some pages need to be protected. I hope that you'll accept my request.--Shrikarsan (talk) 12:51, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
I have made a reqest here but there is no one to vote. I'm the only one who contributes continuously there.--Shrikarsan (talk) 13:13, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- You cannot become a bureaucrat without first having admin rights. Either way this project is too small to have bureaucrats, even to have permanent admins. You only can get temporary admin rights, but I think that's what you meant in the first place (deleting and protecting pages can be done by admins).

Removal of access
<translate>
- If you're requesting the removal of your own permissions, make sure you're logged in to your account. If you have multiple flags, specify which you want removed. Stewards may delay your request a short time to ensure you have time to rethink your request (see self-discussion>Talk:Steward_requests/Permissions/2011#Self_requests</>|previous discussion on 24 hour delays); the rights will not be restored by stewards once they are removed.
- To request the removal of another user's permissions, you must gain consensus on the local wiki first. When there is community consensus that the user's access should be removed, provide a link to the discussion, with a brief explanation of the reason for the request, and summarize the results of discussion. However, as bureaucrats of some wikis may remove users from the administrator or bureaucrat group, please see also a crat-rem>Bureaucrat#Removing_access</>|separate list of these specific wikis.
- To request the removal of another user's permissions for inactivity, link to your local inactivity policy. If your site does not have inactivity policy, the global policy aar>Admin activity review</>|Admin activity review applies.
- See the usage>#Using this page</>|instructions above for adding new requests. Please post new requests at the bottom of the section.</translate>

User Mezelf14 hasn't made 250 edits in the past year (check) and thus does not meet the activity criterion required for admins on the Dutch Wikipedia. - Kippenvlees1 (talk) 15:58, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

they are not urgent, they aren't going anywhere. — billinghurst sDrewth 09:59, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
Done. @EvilFreD: we manage and prioritise our workflow, with the time critical and issues of greater risk having the higher priority. Removals of inactive admins gets a lower priority to spam raids, OTRS, permissions on, name changes, etc. I think that if you look at the history of admins on this page that we get to and manage it adequately among those stewards who are available. For me, I pop past this page once a day, and now here after getting the other tasks done. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:21, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
@Ivory: are you asking serious questions or are you being argumentative? I talked about my practice, and there would be 8-10 stewards with a similar practice, so that would be about two hourly (on average); because this page is monitored by stewards irc channel where stewards sit 24x7 (passively) and actively a significant portion of the time; and there are always plenty who wish to discuss publicly or tell stewards the happenings of the day. Emergency actions take place at the earliest opportunity; run of the mill actions, will get done in time. If you would like more detail, then put your specific questions onto the talk page, and they can be answered from there, and outside of this specific case. — billinghurst sDrewth 03:37, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Swedish Wikipedia
On the Swedish Wikipedia all admins/bureaucrats/CU/OS are elected for one year at a time, see the policy document. There exists a possibility to be reelected, but some users choose not to apply for another period. To get reelected at least 75 percent support is required. --MagnusA (talk) 08:28, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Not done. It doesn't look like anything has changed since a similar request of yours was denied a few days ago. As Billinghurst advised you, please first discuss this on your local wiki and reach a concensus there before requesting someone's permissions to be removed. I get sysop
and reviewer
status on fr.wikinews two weeks ago for a specific task. This task is now over and I'd want to leave these status.
So please :
- remove my
sysop
status on fr.wikinews (cannot be done locally), - remove all other status I got over there (could be done locally but let's do a one shot).
Thank you --Dr Brains (talk) 18:00, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
