Dear community,
Fifteen years ago, the global community elected me as a steward. I stepped down during the 2017 confirmation process after becoming rather inactive.
From 2018 until last year I was completely inactive; since then I’ve returned and am again an administrator on the Simple English Wikipedia and on Meta, the two projects where I’m most active.
I previously held oversight, checkuser, and bureaucrat rights, which were either removed for inactivity or resigned in good standing. I overlooked a few remaining permissions due to other matters; had I realized, I would have resigned them at the time.
I served on the Ombuds Commission from February 2015 until November 2016. Back when we used Freenode, I was also an IRC group contact for five years. A fairly complete list of permissions I hold or have held is here.
As a steward I worked broadly, later focusing on cross-wiki issues, CheckUser requests, and oversight. If elected again, I intend to assist primarily in these areas. I believe I can support the global community in a variety of ways with these tools. Thanks for your time and consideration!
