    Hi everyone,

I'm Nicolas Vigneron from Brittany, France. I've been editing Wikimedia projects since 2004. First I was active in French Wikipédia, but I very quickly moved on to Commons, Wikisource and then Wikidata. I now have more than 7 million edits and a strong crosswiki activity and have various rights on multiples projects see the details (among others, I'm sysop 8 times on Commons, fr.ws, fr.wp, br.wp, br.ws, mul.ws, la.ws, wikimania). I feel I can bring my experience of underrepresentated projects and languages.

I think I have a fairly good understanding of steward rules, I've read documentation and I'm counting on the other stewards (soon-to-be colleague?) to help me. Above all, I'll respect consensus and collaboration.

I'm active in the Wikimedia movement at large, taking part and organizing conferences, training, etc. Also, I'm a more-or-less technical person, not a dev but adjacent. For instance, I've dealt with OAuth requests or helped people setting up 2FA.

For transparency, I have a secondary account VIGNERON en résidence used professionally.

Thanks. I'm available to answer any questions (publicly or privately).

    Cheers, VIGNERON * discut. 19:45, 29 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
