Feedback on the November Global Events[edit]

During the first set of events, on November 21 and 22, participants have expressed their points of view on which initiatives should be coordinated globally (global priorities). You can read the full report on these two events here: Strategy/Wikimedia_movement/2018-20/Transition/Global_Conversations/Report

Ideas for Implementation[edit]

During the events on December 5 and 6, we will be brainstorming ideas for the implementation of 10 "initiative clusters". There will be two (2) rounds lasting around 40 minutes each. Please sign up for the initiative clusters for which you would like to brainstorm ideas for implementation. You're welcome to sign up for the same cluster in both rounds. All the initiatives clustered below received the top quartile number of votes (appearing in dark green on the heat map) during the November 21 and 22 global events. The initiatives that have been clustered together have been merged because of their overlapping purposes or expected implementation plan. In total, they make up 7 clusters. The remaining 3 clusters will be determined by write-in responses to the question: "Which initiatives would you like to brainstorm implementation ideas for that are not listed above?"

All the initiatives can be viewed again here: Strategy/Wikimedia_movement/2018-20/Transition/List_of_Initiatives

  • Please select your initiative clusters for both rounds (minimum 1, maximum 2)
    • Initiative 2: Funding for underrepresented communities
    • Initiative 3: Increase awareness about the movement
