Dr Shivakumar Singh Policepatel born in Appayipally villagae, Kodangal Mandal, Mahabubnagar district. He studied his primary education from the birth village. Then he completed his Upper primary and high school study from Government schools from Kodangal. Intermediate he successfully completed from Govt. Junior college, Tandur, Vikarabad dist. B.Sc., BZC from SAP Vikarabad. M.Sc., and Ph.D., completed from Gulbarga University, Karnataka, India. In his Ph.D., studies he has been standrdized antidermatophytic silver nano particles biosynthesised from Raam Phal (Annona reticulata). It is world first report.

He also worked on Antidermatophytic activity from ethnic medicinal plants.

A number of ethinic plants usages documented.

From Telangana state wild plant fruits, flowers, food plants and their importance in modern civilization have been recording.
