Follow up on the project proposal

Hi @Info-farmer,

Hope you are well. Thank you for applying for rapid fund application. Before reaching a final decision, I have below clarifying questions related to the submitted project proposal:

1. Do you have confirmed permission to access, digitize, and publish the palm-leaf book under a free license from the library or holding institution?

2. What is your plan if you are unable to gain access to the palm-leaf library or encounter delays in digitization? Is there an alternative manuscript or institution lined up?

3. You mention one-on-one or Train-the-Trainer efforts. It’d be good to run some efforts to train the wikimedians. Are you planning to organise this and what support would you need to organise them?

4. Once the palm-leaf manuscripts are digitized, how do you envision them being used or accessed by the wider public or scholars for larger impact?

5. Can you kindly share the budget in this template?

6. Kindly add chartered accountant fee in your budget for getting the utilization certificate for project expenses at the end of the project. Ream more here.

1.// Do you have confirmed permission to access,...the library or holding institution// Yes. i already accessed and released few files related to this project in my application. Kindly verify.

2.//if you are unable to gain// The situation never arise. if it comes, i will refund all the grand money.

3. First i will create all the to do list as a screencast after the field work. then, i will post it in our village pump (as a Common's file link). Finally, i will do a on-line meet-up (Going to record and upload at Commons.) with the interested users. And i will submit the collective decision of our community.

4. In the library nearly a hundred important palm-leaf books available. I hope that our community members, will populate at Commons. If necessary, we will call few from other community for extensive Wikidata training.

6. Thanks for the link. but it is confusing. For example, My amount is nearly 500 dollars. How much i have to add for auditor fee. //Chartered Accountant fee - Based on local context, while we understand the existing practice is to allocate INR 4000 - 8000 // //Tax implications:// I am having poor knowledge over this kind of financial management. It is a hurdle for me. The auditor or the financial official is going to get fee. So, my request is add all the appropriate financial administrative fees in my contract form. i will sign. We are pleased to inform you that your request has been approved for the amount of ₹47500 + ₹5000 (CA fees for getting the Utilisation Certificate) = ₹52,500

Please note: The approved amount includes ₹5000 for the Chartered Accountant.

Thanks indeed. After this approval, i started this project according to the timeline which i mentioned in my fluxx application and going to end this project as in my application i.e., //proposed end date2025-07-31// But i still waiting to sign the appropriate project fund document to receive the approved project fund i.e., ₹52,500 (//of ₹47500 + ₹5000 (CA fees for getting the Utilisation Certificate) = ₹52,500 //).

Notes: Till now, i received two mails only.

• First mail is from you on June 28. 2025 with the following two attachments.

1. Project Work.pdf (//Start Date: July 21, 2025 End Date: October 31, 2025//) - Let me know, why the changing the approved date. If it is necessary, please do change in this meta page too.
2. Professional Fees (It is having two links. Link1 : this meta page's URL, Link2: this meta page's talk page URL)

• Second mail is from Mr. Shaik Khaja Mohiddin, (Education Outreach, IIIT Hyderabad) on July 3, 2025 with the following two attachments. It is a CC mail to you)

1. WhatsApp Image 2025-05-01 at 13.37.jpeg (It shows a list documents)
2. 206AB-Declaration-From-Vendor-Reg(2).docx (To be printed on letterhead)

I hope that i furnished all the details. Please do verify the above date's mails. In the fluxx account, my approved document is under the tab "pending signatures". Kindly help further to sign the project fund document (https://www.docusign.com/) as soon as possible and complete this approved project with in the application date. Time line change need

According to the signed agreement of this project, the time line is from July 21 to October 31, 2025. But the existing time line shows earlier dates. May i know, when the agreement time-line change happens in this meta page too? Thanks in advance. Info-farmer (talk) 16:15, 17 September 2025 (UTC)
