Separate index

So thinking out loud here. What you want is a new search index, which indexes specific types of pages, splits them into sections and indexes them as these separate sections.

When you would use the Search interface, look through this new index as well as the normal content index. If there are results in the discussion index, these results have to be excluded from the 'normal' index. The section headers and 'blobs' for the search result, would refer to the section of the page, and the part of the section with the 'hit' for the search term. —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 09:30, 21 August 2024 (UTC)

Wish status update

Hello

Due to the new wishlist process, this wish which was previously marked with the "long-term opportunity" label will be updated to the "proposed wish" label.

With this new label, the wish comes back to the pool of wishes. It will then be triaged and re-submitted for votes.

On behalf of the wishlist team,
