I think this wish is resolved as described at phab:T389161. The library I wrote for that task tries to match the server-side formatting of dates. The resulting format is identical for hundreds of languages including Farsi and Thai. Tim Starling (WMF) (talk) 23:57, 1 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
