Thank you for your proposal!

We’ve reviewed your wish with the Editing team, as it closely relates to their current tools and past discussions (including tasks like T54174 and T209970). The idea of pinging users from edit summaries — similar to how Discussion Tools allows @-mentions — is recognized as useful and aligns with existing features the team has considered.

This is a good idea, but it’s not something we can prioritize at the moment. We'll keep it saved for future quarterly planning discussions.
