Hello @Barkeep49, just to confirm, is this wish from a previous Wishlist edition? STei (WMF) (talk) 12:23, 23 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
@STei (WMF) it is Community Wishlist Survey 2023/Anti-harassment/Allow abuse filters to be hidden to only oversighters. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 15:49, 23 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
Great, thanks! –– STei (WMF) (talk) 19:24, 24 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Update on Your Wishlist Request: Restricting Abuse Filter Access

[edit]

Hello @Barkeep49,

Thank you for submitting this wishlist request! We appreciate your efforts in proposing improvements to abuse filter privacy.

We’ve reviewed the related Phabricator ticket, and the Trust and Safety Product team has noted that this needs to be reviewed with both T&S and Legal. Since they are already following up on this through Phabricator, we are currently waiting for their response.

We’ll keep an eye on the discussion there. Let us know if you have any additional insights in the meantime!

Hi @Barkeep49 - a quick update on this wish. The TSP team has added it to their upcoming sprint in May. Of course, sometimes prioritization can occasionally shuffle, but we're excited that this wish is getting attention! https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T290324 JWheeler-WMF (talk) 20:32, 16 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
@JWheeler-WMF thanks for the update. What does this mean considering the volunteer work that is reflected in that task? Thanks, Barkeep49 (talk) 20:56, 16 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
