I think you're talking about these interwiki links in the screenshot. Article quality badges like featured article badges are display there. Example: d:Q2#sitelinks-wikipedia. Is this about displaying more metadata about articles in Wikidata? If so I think this is a good idea and Wikidata items would be a better place for such metadata than the language links in the sidebar or dropdown in Wikipedia (the blue languages button at the top in ENWP). This wish is highly related: Display Total Number of References Next to Language Links and maybe there is/are some further proposals about this (I think there was at least one more). This data could be useful for evaluating article quality to e.g. pick the best source article to machine translate from. However, it can also often be flawed and usually insufficient…e.g. including many references does not mean it's necessarily better and becoming a featured article in one WP is something different than becoming FA in another or in the largest WP etc. Still this could be useful but I doubt it would be very useful. To some degree it's already there with those badges and I wonder if these can be queried – if not enabling that may be useful (but again the real-world need / applications of this are unclear and currently seem likely not that important). The other related wish is Add size of every Wikipedia article language version on a list of all language versions. Prototyperspective (talk) 16:15, 14 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
