Detail confirmation
[edit]Hi @Susannaanas, I hope you're well! I just want to confirm that I understand the scope and goal of this wish correctly. I believe you are requesting that the opensource font Montserrat be added to Meta-wiki in a way that allows you/anyone to use it via pages that use the styles in {{GLAM/style.css}} (for example). E.g. I've got Montserrat installed locally, therefor I can test that this would enable changing pages like so phab:F57563125 (before/after screenshot). You want to do it in a way that avoids the problems we ran into in the past such as phab:T225511. Please confirm that is accurate?
I'll also note that I believe this request/topic is more complex than it might appear, because it involves the "webfonts" feature in web-browsers, which inherently require downloading (for any readers that don't have the typeface preinstalled), and thus it can result in a "flash of unstyled content" which we usually try to avoid. There are more notes and related links in this comment (in particular, the "Challenges" sections in the linked page mw:Universal Language Selector/WebFonts) that help explain some of the complexities, if you/anyone wants to read more.
