An idea about UTRS[edit]

I don't post it to the main discussion page, as it is no longer relevant after I clarified the scope. However @AmandaNP, Deepfriedokra, and 331dot: please comment on the following idea (about English Wikipedia UTRS only): we introduce a public page such as https://utrs-beta.wmflabs.org/caselist which will list all present and past appeals, and for closed appeal, a summary of closure (i.e. why is the appeal declined). The appeals themselves remain private.--GZWDer (talk) 11:20, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure how the scope was clarified, but regardless, it's completely unfeasible to make a summary of what happened on the appeals as we have 4072 appeals and counting for UTRS 2 and 30343 from UTRS 1. I don't want to personally summarize 34k and growing appeals nor do I have that kind of time. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 16:44, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@AmandaNP: I don't require a summary for every old cases, but for recent closures most of them are without a summary so that others do not see what happens (see my comment before).--GZWDer (talk) 17:55, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Must agree with AmandaNP. I think the search function is more than adequate. Old UTRS 2 appeals are automatically listed when a user files a new one. Legacy UTRS appeals are documented on the user talk page. Not seeing any purpose at all to the proposed summary. A lot of work with no benefit. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:39, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
