Relinquishment of lead membership[edit]

Hello @MKaur (WMF), TheAafi, and Faismeen:,

I am relinquishing my position as one of the lead members of this user group. I request Manav to please make a note of this decision as well as the other two members of the user group to discuss and replace my name with any other Urdu Wikipedian from India. Thank you very much!Thank you very much!. --Muzammil (talk) 19:33, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Personally, I would recommend the hard working editor User:Ulubatli_Hasan.--Muzammil (talk) 20:23, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I think you should remain as the head of the group. Still, if one has to be appointed and to replace you then User:TheAafi is a suitable candidate. Faismeen (talk)
Faismeen I must make a note that I took an exit from Urdu Wikipedia prior to Muzammil and have perhaps same concerns as him. I also seek that someone be replaced over my place.─ The Aafī (talk) 04:03, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also, lead members cannot replace any other lead member. If Muzammil recommends Hasan as one, I'd recommend Shuaib as the other. The issue is else with the community that whom they choose, will replace us. Best wishes. ─ The Aafī (talk) 05:19, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see any conflict here - two lead members quit, two others can take their place. --Muzammil (talk) 05:25, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I just clarified, since Faismeen said if one has to be appointed and to replace you then User:TheAafi is a suitable candidate. 1: Lead member cannot replace any other lead member. 2: I'm also taking an exit. Hope this makes sense now. ─ The Aafī (talk) 06:19, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Faismeen: I am ready to discharge this duty, if other two Indian members have already exited from this group, although I feel they should be staying as group leaders. Hasan (talk) 05:49, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Faismeen and Ulubatli Hasan: I think an opinion poll on Urdu Wikipedia will help in appointing/conferring the lead group member status to both Hasan and Shuaib the way a similar poll was undertaken for Aquib. At the same time, please also confirm from Shuaib whether he is interested in taking this responsibility. --Muzammil (talk) 06:24, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Looks fine. Go with it. Interestingly, MKaur (WMF) seems to be no more connected with the AffCom. The account is locked.The Aafī (talk) 15:25, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
User:DNdubane (WMF) Can you please enlighten on the Affcom member status?--Muzammil (talk) 15:57, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
appears to be a technical glitch. Manav has said she'll have a look over here on Monday. Best. ─ The Aafī on Mobile (talk) 19:14, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@MKaur (WMF): s'il vous plaît. --Muzammil (talk) 11:52, 31 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

MKaur (WMF) Thanks for delisting me. As you can see in the above discussion, User:TheAafi has also exited alongside his quitting Urdu Wikipedia. Now the group looks for your guidance for its survival.--Muzammil (talk) 08:20, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
