Please replace the logos of the contest from 2025 to 2026 in three pages of the Campwiz tool (191, 193, 194). I forgot to replace it when creating it. Thank you.--Il Nur (talk) 19:23, 17 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Amüsant

[edit]

Individual Contributor

[edit]

Hello - how do individual contributors participate? The "Participate now" button goes to organizer's handbook and participating communities, but I do not see a community that my article would fit under. Do I have to start my own participating community to participate? Thanks Wikimesia (talk) 02:31, 9 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

What does "I do not see a community that my article would fit under" means? Do you have a wiki project community you mainly participating in? If yes, you can ask the others in the community to organize the event and participate in it. Taiwanese Elephant🐘(talk|contribs) 07:59, 10 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

CampWiz for the Chechen Wikipedia

[edit]

Surajkumar9931, Hello. I made a mistake when creating the tool and created it 2 times for the Chuvash Wikipedia instead of the Chechen one. Is it possible to untie from the Chuvash and bind to the Chechen (https://tools.wikilovesfolklore.org/campwiz/campaign/192), or is it too late? It does not allow to create a new one for the Chechen one. There are already 193 for the Chuvash Wiki. The name also needs to be changed ("Феминизм а, фольклор а 2026" instead of "Феминизмпа фольклор 2026"). If you can't change it, please create a new tool and give me the number. So that I can send it to the participants to add articles. Thank you.--Il Nur (talk) 18:45, 26 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Il Nur It is possible to merge the submissions from backend, but would take a little bit of time to perform this from the backend as we would need to check integrity of the database after manual operations. Another solution might be, manually submit the articles on each participants' behalf from the frontend. But it would lose any evaluation score that was given to those articles in the previous campaign. Nokib Sarkar (talk) 08:33, 27 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
What is it fronted? Il Nur (talk) 10:15, 27 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Il Nur frontend means the usual interface you see. More plainly speaking, the normal way a user would submit an article. Nokib Sarkar (talk) 10:33, 27 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
If you are creating a tool for the Chechen Wikipedia, then I can manually add articles there myself. Do what's convenient for you, and we'll adapt. Il Nur (talk) 18:02, 27 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
I also created a marathon in the fountain tool. Can you confirm it? And we will only use it for the Chechen Wikipedia. Il Nur (talk) 05:40, 28 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Il Nur for fountain only meta wiki admins and Chechen Wikipedia admins can approve campaigns. Thank you Tiven2240 (talk) 05:46, 28 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Request to correct CampWiz entry attribution

[edit]

Hello Feminism and Folklore organizers, I am one of the judges of the Feminism and Folklore contest on the Tagalog Wikipedia. My co-judge, User:Billie_bb, had difficulty adding her entry to CampWiz, so I added the article on her behalf. However, the submission was automatically recorded under my account and is now appearing as my entry. Could you please help correct the attribution and credit the submission to User:Billie bb instead? This is the entry in question: [1] Thank you very much for your assistance. --Jojit (talk) 05:39, 8 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Jojit fb I deleted the article. Please submit the article on behalf of the correct user. Thanks. Nokib Sarkar (talk) 16:03, 8 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, @Nokib Sarkar, everything is working fine now. :-) --Jojit (talk) 08:50, 19 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Ukrainian language in the questionnaire

[edit]

Dear Feminism and Folklore International Organizing Team,

Thank you very much for the congratulations and for recognizing my contributions. I am honored to be named a Local Winner for the Feminism and Folklore 2026 campaign.

I am writing regarding the Appreciation Form linked in your email. I would like to complete it, but I am currently unable to do so because Ukrainian is missing from the language options provided in the form.

Could you please add the Ukrainian language to the list? Once it is added, I will be happy to fill out my details before the June 22 deadline.

Also, I found out that Tremendous is not available in my country.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards, Krutyvuss (talk) 19:10, 7 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Result are out, but Fiji Hindi Wikipedia is missing

[edit]

Dear organizers, the global results for Feminism and Folklore 2026 are out, but Fiji Hindi Wikipedia is missing. We fear this exclusion is due to the ongoing delay in publishing our local results. Please provide an urgent update on our local results and ensure our contributors' hard work is globally recognized. AMAN KUMAR (talk) 00:47, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

@AMAN KUMAR we haven't received any winners information (despite reminders) from the local team to give prizes. Tiven2240 (talk) 10:53, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tiven2240 Thanks for clarifying. It is highly unfair that active contributors are being penalized for the local team's negligence. Since they are unresponsive, is there any alternative mechanism? Can we submit the evaluation data directly, or could the global team review the Fiji Hindi dashboard so our hard work doesn't go in vain? AMAN KUMAR (talk) 10:59, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@AMAN KUMAR the international team cant verify the submissions. we can suggest you to kindly contact local organisers via talkpage/email feature and request them to complete the evaluation. --Tiven2240 (talk) 11:45, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Suyash.dwivedi, please evaluate the article on Fizi Hindi Wikipedia. AMAN KUMAR (talk) 09:49, 9 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Done! : Suyash Dwivedi (💬) 10:12, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Suyash.dwivedi Thank you so much for completing the evaluation!
To finalize our participation, could you please declare the winners based on the official local prize structure? Please note that there is no 3rd place for this edition. The local prizes are:
  • 1st local prize: 25 USD
  • 2nd local prize: 20 USD
  • Best jury article: 15 USD (Chosen by the jury as the best article of the contest)
Once the winners are decided, these results must be published on the global Feminism and Folklore 2026/Results page.
Could you please update this with the final numbers and publish it so our contributors can finally receive their recognition? Thanks again for your help! AMAN KUMAR (talk) 13:09, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tiven2240 The local team has officially published the results on the global page. Please process the prizes and certificates for Fiji Hindi Wikipedia. AMAN KUMAR (talk) 07:31, 11 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Suyash.dwivedi Hello sir please respond AMAN KUMAR (talk) 11:37, 11 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tiven2240 I have made the necessary updates regarding the results for the Fiji Hindi Wikipedia and Simple English Wikipedia. Could you please review and approve them? Additionally, kindly send the required forms/certificates to the respective users' talk pages so we can conclude this process. Thank you! AMAN KUMAR (talk) 00:02, 12 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@AMAN KUMAR can you provide the details of best article which was chosen by the jury. Tiven2240 (talk) 07:27, 18 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tiven2240 Done already, see here. AMAN KUMAR (talk) 07:37, 18 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi @AMAN KUMAR was it chosen by the jury? Also the name of article please. Tiven2240 (talk) 08:34, 18 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tiven2240 Hi! To be honest, since the local organizers have been completely unresponsive, I selected the best article for Fiji Hindi myself so that the process can move forward without further delay. For Simple English, I selected the best article based on the evaluation done on the article's talk page.
The selected articles are:
Please let me know if this works so we can finalize the results. Thank you for your continued support! AMAN KUMAR (talk) 08:59, 18 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@AMAN KUMAR until the jury dosent approve we cannot proceed by the results. participants cant declare themselves as winners in absense of jury. please contact the jury members and ask them to add the results on the page. Tiven2240 (talk) 09:53, 18 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Tiven2240 I completely understand your point. It is absolutely fair that participants cannot declare themselves as winners. I will reach out to the local jury members(@Suyash.dwivedi) once again and request them to officially approve and publish the results. Thank you for guiding us through this and for your patience! AMAN KUMAR (talk) 10:05, 18 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Could you please update the form to include these. Thank you! AMAN KUMAR (talk) 05:39, 19 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
