My feedback: Especially those who are also banned or were once banned can give you an accurate picture about the condition of the community. Anyway, it doesn't matter to listen to several sides to get not only a one-sided picture of the community. However, if a user has been mistreated by their local community and banned in violation of the rules, you currently automatically exclude them.
