I would like to add that under Literary awards we also include the The All India Konkani Writers' Organization's (AIKWO) Awards. They give awards for the most promising books in Roman and Kannada scripts of Konkani. Since persons who contribute to Konkani Literature in scripts other than Devanagari are not included by the Sahitya Academy this will give a more complete information on all persons who write in Konkani irrespective of the script.AIKWO-announces-awards

The All India Konkani Writers' Organisation (AIKWO)award categories are Poetry, Stories and Novels and Drama (Plays). Each Award consists of Rs. 20,000/- and 'Sanman' presented at the Literary Conference organised by AIKWO. Outofindia (talk) 20:32, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A MODERN ENGLISH KONKANI DICTIONARY (Konkani in the Romi Script) is under print and expected to be out by August 2015. The authors have offered it to the Wictionary project. It will be a Source Associate for KONKANI WIKIPEDIA. We would like to plan a launch event In Goa in mid August and an event in Mangalore on the 22nd August 2015. Looking for the community's support to help organise the events and promote them.
