Link to mdwiki[edit]

Hi, I reverted the page because it linked to a page that only showed "permission error". I'm happy to jump in here and help out and preload and package boxes, please get in touch with me via Whatsapp +27737721223 Dagelf (talk) 06:05, 21 October 2020 (UTC) Thinking about this a bit more, I am not sure I agree with moving it to a wiki with a smaller edit population. This is for more than just medical people, and at least on Wikimedia more people can volunteer and add links. Seeing as that the edit population at IIAB itself is probably even smaller, this findable page seems to be where the "democracy" is at. My main gripe is that not anybody can pre-load an SD Card, but anybody can plug one in and power up a Pi, so I feel it is crucial to have a place where people can find leads on how to get a pre-loaded SD card. What do you all think? Dagelf (talk) 18:39, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimedia India[edit]

Hello, @Doc James: I find a statement, “ Wikimedia India will also soon be selling the devices.” I am a member of Wikimedia India and also past EC. Community hasn’t been informed anything as such. I request you to clarify.--Abhinav619 (talk) 07:27, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

User:Abhinav619 I am in discussions with Suyash. Will be meeting with Sanket Oswal and Rahul in Berlin in April during the Wikimedia Conference.
Discussions are in the early stages so will adjust that wording. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 03:18, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Doc James: Thanks, for the response. --Abhinav619 (talk) 01:46, 27 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Custom PDF files[edit]

Hi @Doc James: I wish to clarify a little confusion I have. Is it possible to add your own PDFs folder (or file containing Microsoft office files) to the device to share with users on the network? —M@sssly 21:37, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

User:Masssly yes it is. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 01:34, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Doc James: A tertiary institution in Ghana wants to make an order. They have some questions but are not comfortable using wiki. Can I connect them with you through email? —M@sssly 10:47, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
User:Masssly Certainly you may. We have a few of the devices at a nursing school in Ghana. They would be able to check them out their aswell to see if they would like some. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 18:35, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
