Link broken[edit]

The link for Basic Introduction to CVS and SourceForge.net is broken. Couldn't find the correct link either.

Unable to understand the procedure[edit]

I do not know whether I am damp or something, but I don't seem to follow the procedure. The "what is to be done" seems pretty clear, but the "how of it" seems pretty vague to me. In Getting lastest file for example, it is stated:

You will have to get the latest language file using the CVS repository:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/wikipedia login.

It is not clear to me where the CVS repository is, and where do I enter the command line. Perhaps, a link to another article that describes the "how-to" in detail will be helpful. local vs. beta[edit]

I wonder if someone could help. If I translate a command on betawiki and this command happens to already have a translation on the specific wiki (in this case lmo.wiki) will the betawiki version overrule teh local one?
