In charge of translations?[edit]

I would appreciate if this page stated somewhere who is and will be in charge of updating the translations. This workflow is not and will not be supported by the Translate developers nor by the Meta-Wiki translation admins. If the mailman administrators & Co. desire to use it, they must clearly commit to maintain it in the future, or freeze the translations after the first batch is completed. --Nemo 13:26, 19 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I will mostly be charge of maintaining the translations for now. After the initial Gerrit patch is merge, I assume User:Thehelpfulone would be willing to help me keep them up to date. We'll add a notice or something to the page shortly :) John F. Lewis (talk) 13:36, 19 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
He doesn't seem to agree with you, from what I gather on IRC. :-) After the patch is merged, unless someone pops up wanting to maintain this translation request, I'll freeze it. No big deal. ;-) --Nemo 13:39, 19 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I guess :) If people need to translate it into a language, Gerrit exists with the source code and so bugzilla with a mailing list component. We just remove the maintenance on you guys. John F. Lewis (talk) 13:57, 19 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should allow people to translate the languages over the next few weeks and then do another sync before we close the translations, so I've re-opened the page for translation. Thehelpfulone 16:26, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'll disable again soon as there is no plan to use the translations. Nemo 05:13, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
