Apologies[edit]

reschedule[edit]

As a number of us are elsewhere that Sunday would it be possible to move this one day forward to Saturday the 10th? WereSpielChequers 14:57, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Heresy! Gordo 18:31, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And User:Phoebe is in town... Gordo 18:32, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well she might be in town the day before as well. WereSpielChequers 19:23, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am not, in fact :( Flying in Sunday morning. But, do whatever you need to do. -- phoebe | talk 23:10, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Still no good for me, since I will have to many things to do the day before I fly out. However, if it helps other editors attend, then I have no objection. CT Cooper · talk 23:13, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think that main thing is to stick with the pattern, and if turnout is low, so be it. I cannot attend Saturday 10th. As you know, I tend to be there about one meeting on five. On Sunday 11th, I am at a "briefing" during Sunday lunchtime, so will get down to the Oak later in the afternoon. And it is Xmas (which started in June) so many people will be in Oxford Street shopping for toys, no doubt.... Gordo 08:38, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK well my apologies for this month - hope to see you all some time next year. WereSpielChequers 12:42, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
See you soon. I hope to make January, or failing that February. CT Cooper · talk 20:35, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Nobody turning-up doesn't seem to have been a huge problem with London meetups, so leaving it as it is not unreasonable. Although I don't object to any move because I won't be there, I will say that changing the date has caused some conflict in the past and should be done with caution. CT Cooper · talk 20:35, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There is nothing stopping people just organising another one the following week. A meetup can be anything anywhere.Seddon 03:30, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly. The wonderful thing about meetings is meetings is wonderful things! Gordo 18:54, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
