Some observations[edit]

  • Brion is going to work on single login this month.
  • Commons is indeed the preferred place for pictures. However, the policy of Commons is not the same as the policy on other projects. I would prefer to have only one resource but because of the issues with these policies, it will be up to the projects themselves.
  • There are proposals for a different way of the interwiki, it needs a good design AND a programmer willing to do this work.
  • The geograhical coordinates are only interesting when they make sense to you. When Google Earth only caters for English it is not that great after all.

YES, I agree having content consolidated in a clever way would also allow for better quality of the data because it needs to be maintained only once.
