The committee review and questions

The committee has noted several similarities between this grant request and your existing Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) grant. In light of this, we kindly ask you to revise your application as follows:
1. Detailed Budget Breakdown: Please update the budget section to provide a more detailed and transparent breakdown of how each portion of this grant will be used. Ensure that all allocations are clearly linked to activities, resources, and outcomes that are specific to this project.
2. Separation from WMF Grant: After reviewing both your current proposal and the WMF-funded budget, we ask that you remove any items already covered by the WMF grant. The revised budget should include only new and distinct elements that are not supported by existing WMF funding.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to reviewing the updated version of your proposal.

- Dear Reda Kerbouche and Committee, Thank you for reviewing my application and providing detailed feedback. I appreciate the opportunity to engage in this process and the insights shared regarding my proposal.
- After attending the virtual meeting with you and Serine Ben Brahim for clarification, I have carefully reconsidered the feasibility of proceeding with the revisions. Given that we are nearing the end of our campaign submission period and the prize declaration is still pending, I believe the extended review process no longer aligns with our timeline. To ensure smooth execution, we have decided to manage within the existing Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) funding at a minimum level.
- With that in mind, I am formally withdrawing this grant request. I sincerely appreciate the time and effort invested by the committee in reviewing my application, and I look forward to potential future collaborations. Regards, ZI Jony (Talk) 18:14, 25 March 2025 (UTC)
